ECHS Program Coordinator
Rachel Burleson

Ms. Burleson is the Program Coordinator for the Early College High School.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Adolescent Studies from California State University, Fullerton, and began her teaching career in her hometown with the La Habra City School District in 1998.  Soon after, she moved to Dallas, Texas, where she received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Texas A & M University, Commerce. For 13 years, she enjoyed her job as a middle school counselor, but when the opportunity arose to become a part of the Early College High School program, her goal was to assist students to achieve academic success, equip themselves with the tools to lead healthy, productive lives, and pursue their highest goals.
